Mission Support

CAP needs appropriately trained staff to plan and run operations.  Missions are operated within the Incident Command System.  It is probable that CAP will be operating missions with other units inside CAP and other agencies from state and local governments.  The Incident Command System allows organizations to function together because everyone uses the same framework for mission management. The following training is used for the personnel working in ICS staff at the mission bases for CAP:
